Loved our Malt Attic dining experience. We did the tasting menu with matched wines for our anniversary. The food was amazing. I have never had such beautiful Murray Cod. My other favourites were the chickpea tarlet amd wagyu. All the flavours for all courses were perfection and blew me away. Presentation was also lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Atmosphere intimate and great for a romantic dinner. Love love love this place and will be back!!! We even had a special happy anniversary dessert.

I booked this restaurant for a group of seven, and we went with the set menu. Every dish was absolutely delicious, with amazing flavor combinations throughout. My favorite was the Queensland scallop — it was outstanding. The atmosphere was also great, perfect for a date night or an outing with friends.

I tried the crispy duck and ham for starter and the roasted pumpkin for main and the chocolate brownie (decorated for my birthday) for desert. All three were really tasty and yummy. Nice atmosphere and professional staff as well.

Great spot. Our friend had his birthday dinner here in one of the private rooms. The food was good, the service was good. It was all very comfortable and enjoyable.

I'm a visitor from WA and first time here. We had a group booking in the Attic restaurant upstairs. Firstly, the venue was beautiful and it was such a lovely space to spend a few hours after a long day. Couldn't fault the person who took our orders and made sure we always had water and drinks. She was brilliant. We went for a set menu and every dish was amazing! What an absolute delight. Highly recommend this venue. I can see why this is a venue of choice for special occasions.

Last night was my partner’s birthday and we chose this restaurant to celebrate. Everything was fantastic, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. It made the night really special for us. Highly recommended

We dined upstairs at Attic restaurant this week for our wedding anniversary & ordered the ‘Taste of malt’. Every plate was superb and generous. Our waitresses were friendly and attentive. Such a beautiful romantic ambient space. We highly recommend. Thank you to chef and staff for making our anniversary so special

The waitress was very attentive and kept mentioning that this was their new tasting menu, which made the whole experience even more exciting. You can really feel how much thought the chef put into designing each course. The dishes may look simple, but you can tell a lot of skill went into every detail. The flavours were well-balanced, beautifully executed, and genuinely delicious. Nothing overly flashy — just solid technique and great food done properly. The wine pairing was surprisingly good and very reasonably priced. We also used an EatClub discount, which made it feel like fine dining at a very smart price. Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Drinks: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ambience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Value: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommend, especially with the pairing wines. A great example of subtle, thoughtful Australian fine dining.
